Sinks and Taps

At A-La-Carte we offer an extensive range of sinks and taps, many are displayed at our showroom in Burry Port.

There are three main types of sink; stainless steel, granite / coloured and ceramic. All of the sinks and taps are available to order. If you can't see the type you want, please contact us.

Stainless Steel

A popular choice that lasts a long time. There is a wide variety of stainless steel sinks, from those at the cheaper, contract end (those that have a drainer like a spring board) to the designer end that look good as well as being functional.

Granite / Coloured Sinks

The original coloured sinks had a limited life, materials like Asterite give good looks by colour coordination but have a life of around 5 years depending upon how much care they are given. These are still used in the contract market and budget home market. A new material is Granite. If you are looking for a coloured sink and long life, then this is the material to go for.

Franke Ariane ARG654

Attention to detail when this sink was designed has made it one of our most popular sellers. The wastes are positioned at the back of the sink to leave more space in your cupboard and there is a seperate waste for the distinctively styled draining board. This sink is available in 5 granite colours (white, grey, slate, oatmeal & champagne) and a stainless steel version is also available.

Ceramic Sinks

The original sink material. Belfast sinks & Butler sinks were common in many homes this century and their glazed surface continues to make them practical in schools. They also look very good in a traditional kitchen, although there is a risk of chipping if you drop the saucepan. For a more modern look with the easy to clean ceramic surface there is a range of inset ceramic sinks too. They are available in single bowl or bowl and a half. There is also a growing range of colours to choose from.
